We are an association of Southern Baptist churches made up of believers committed to worshipping and serving Jesus Christ. As a Southern Baptist Association of churches we join with like minded Christians in spreading the gospel around the world.
Our Mission: The Morganton and Mountaintown Baptist Association is seeking to equip existing churches to fulfill the Great Commission working cooperatively in planting new churches and ministries by reaching, teaching, and maturing people for Kingdom growth.
Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and in the churches of the Morganton and Mountaintown Baptist Association we desire to do the same. That's why you'll discover here ministries geared to various life stages and needs. That's why we have a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, and minister to others through numerous service opportunities.
As you look through our pages you will find mission opportunities that reach out locally and globally. We are blessed to have free medical clinics, free food distributions, free dental clinics and a free counseling ministry. We also support two pregnancy centers providing a place for counseling and resources for expecting moms. Globally, Jamaica mission trips are made in January and July each year.
We want you to be a part of the blessings of God in the life of one of our churches. We'll bring you updates on just what's happening in the Morganton and Mountaintown Baptist Association and share the stories of how Christ is making a difference in people's lives.

Our Mission and Ministry Resource Center
The Mission and Ministry Resource Center is located just off Highway 515 in Blue Ridge, Georgia. The Center provides office space for the missionary, associate missionary and for the ministry assistant, Mrs. Angie Whitener, and a workroom that also serves as an office for our counselor Dr. DeAnna Brown. One of the rooms has been converted into a dental clinic with all the necessary equipment to provide dental care. There is a library of resource materials, and two classrooms for offering training in all areas of ministry and technology. Many people visit the Mission Center each week. The center is used for two counseling ministries, free food distribution, free medical clinic, and free dental clinics. It is home to the SAM's committee (senior adult ministry), a monthly breakfast for pastors, and a host of other meetings which occur occasionally.
